So the product description clearly states that it will work with the original Garmin mount, but the product I received does not attach to the bottom of the Garmin mount. There must be some threads going under the Garmin washer or something. I figured I could swap out the screws and use the very short screws that come with the product like the screws that hold the Garmin washer in place and then use the longer Garmin screws to attach the mount adapter with it. It would work if there was a catch on the strings somewhere. Well I think I'll be returning this product as it doesn't do what it says on the tin.
