This tool works like a charm, I ordered this for pitting cherries this season. Watch my video to demonstrate how well this works. It is also excellent for olives. It uses a cylinder to push the pit in and out so this works great for anything that has a pit. The device itself is well made, it takes some leverage to poke through the hole but you don't feel much strain as it is well made and well designed. Cleanup is easy, I just throw it in the dishwasher when I'm done on the top shelf and it works fine.
