I have ordered 4 different brands of compression stockings as I am prone to cleft calves and stress fractures due to my very high arch. They were without a doubt the best. and the only ones that have worked for me. I wear them while running and also for rest for about 30 minutes afterwards and I've noticed such a difference running in them. In fact, I ordered them as soon as I felt another round of shin splints and they seemed to nip it in the bud. I'm 5'1" and have 13.5" calves, but size II fits me much better than size III, which is recommended in the sizing chart - I felt like size III just didn't offer enough compression. I gave this 4 out of 5 because the price is just too high for the simplicity of the product. It annoys me a bit that I have to wash them every day as I don't want to spend money on multiple pairs. However, I will end up ordering them in a different color. just not soon because of the price!
