I wanted something that would protect my machine from dust when it's in the closet, it's perfect. Janome came with a hardcover note, but I wanted something soft. This bag fits the machine and hard case, as well as the leg, instruction manual and vibrating platform. The coil box and a few accessories fit nicely in the outside pocket. The stitching, handle and fabric feels very strong. If I were traveling with my sewing machine I would be sure that my machine is safe (although there is no way I would check it on the plane).
