I followed Xero's recommendation and ordered a half size larger than my normal shoes and they fit great! I made sure to print out the instructions for one of their sandals that is true to size and order half from there, 8 to 8.5. They didn't feel very barefoot initially, but after I removed the extra insole they had the feel I was looking for. I run, walk and hike in these shoes and also use them as my everyday athletic shoes and they are great. Unusually for Xero shoes, but wearing sandals and adapting to them has greatly increased my foot strength, reduced left arch pain (especially when climbing stairs) and helped a lot with my runner's knee.
