Brilliant idea - much easier than risking a paring knife and going back and forth. Gave this to my parents who are huge chestnut fans and love how easy it is to peel the chestnut after cutting it and then microwave the chestnuts for about a minute. Delicious! 1 star removed due to possible concern with one of the reviews about the blade coming off or having black parts?
