Taurine helped restore heart rhythm

Taurine found completely "accidentally". For a change, I decided to eat sardines for breakfast. On the fourth day of this routine, I noticed that my arrhythmias, which had been constant in my life for several years, had mysteriously almost disappeared. Curious and satisfied, I searched the internet to see if there was anything in sardines or fish that affects heart rate and came across the amino acid taurine. Apparently, fish is a rich source of taurine. So I continued eating fish for breakfast, alternating with canned mackerel and canned Alaskan salmon, and started adding taurine, like this product from NOW. I also found information on the internet that hospitals sometimes use taurine to combat irregular heart rhythms. I have had a pacemaker for 3 years, but it hasn't affected episodes of afibrillation or PVCs, but it does record such events. In the spring of 2015, my pacemaker was "interrogated" at the doctor's office and 6600 cases of irregular heartbeats were reported. A year later, in May 2016, the interrogation revealed only 33! I thank God for the improvement. Interestingly, my doctor never suggested or commented on taurine when I mentioned what a help it was. Except that she added taurine to the "per patient" list of supplements. I couldn't tell if that piqued your interest. As for my retirees, I can add that I'm only a month under 80, feel pretty good, and have been taking a lot of vitamins and supplements in addition to taurine for years.
