I purchased polished nickel shower curtain hooks to accompany my new shower curtain and shower head. (By the way, I really like my new shower head. It has an amazing high pressure jet. Much better than my previous shower head. 6 function low flow bathroom shower - brushed nickel) The shower curtain hooks are great for the price. The hooks hang very well and aren't paper thin like some hooks I've seen. They do not stick to the hinges of the eaves and do not force the curtain to be pulled several times to "unravel". The metal-coated balls on the top allow the shower hooks to slide easily over the shower rail. In addition, the shower curtain hooks remain closed. They don't randomly open and reveal the curtain or drop the shower rods. It's funny, but you don't know how much you need great shower curtain hooks until you've tried a good one and a bad one. In many of the bathrooms I've used I've had to fiddle with closing the shower curtain because the hooks would get caught on the rod. Now a slight tug is enough to close and open the entire curtain. I'm a bit amazed at how smoothly my shutter works. I've been using the new shower hooks for over a month now and they are holding up great. I know it sounds silly but if you are having trouble with your shower curtain/hook please update. For <$10, it's worth no longer struggling with a shower curtain headache. You'll kick yourself in the butt if you haven't made a purchase sooner.
