I bought this lens because it cost like shit. I figured if it was really bad I could just return it to Revain for a refund. But --- I mounted it on the front of my Panasonic G85, took it out and shot it for a couple of hours today and was very impressed with the overall handling. It's small and light, but metallic and strong. It's important to understand that this is a fully manual lens. There is no communication with the camera. You have to focus manually and use the aperture ring manually. Most Panasonic and Olympus cameras will meter correctly with this lens when the camera is used with priority M or A. So the capture and processing is good, but the proof comes when viewing images on a big screen. I checked the 250 shots I took today and found them to be sharp, high contrast and with good colour. I would have no hesitation in using this lens for professional work. Another note: There are no detents on the aperture ring. If you're using a video lens, that's fine. If you want and need clicks, then that's bad. I have other lenses without click stops so I'm used to it and it's neutral for me. But you should know before you order it. I love the lens so much I'm looking at the 35mm version right now.
