I gifted this for Christmas. it comes with a sticky white paper thin protective covering. as it is stainless, the covering won't come off. this is a horrible product for the amount of money I spent. IT IS WORTHLESS. My daughTer has not been ablE to use it or get the coating off. once the coating was off of a lid (2 hours of picking) it left an extremely sticky surface THAT WILL REQUIRE A SPECIAL PRODUCT TO REMOVE. a product like this is embarrassing to give as a gift, I EXPECTED BETTER QUALITY FROM AMAZON.
