Had to return this thermometer as it never gave an accurate reading. I admit that I have a sub-normal temperature, but I made a comparison with this thermometer, a digital oral thermometer and a wall-forehead scanning thermometer, we have a job. While the wall and mouth units were accurate to about 1/2 degree, this thermometer never showed my temperature above 94.7 F! Ridiculous on this COVID day and the need for me and my husband to check our prices before heading to our offices. As a mental health professional, I cannot risk exposing my clients to more risk than I can afford to be exposed to COVID. So sticking with the oral thermometer and I'm dreaming again of the good old glass and mercury thermometers of my youth that NEVER read anything other than the correct temperature! Of course I would like to find someone who still sells such thermometers.
