Review on Premium Swiss Leather Turntable Slipmat by Lamar Marshall

So I'm not an audiophile player expert and I'm interested if this will affect my training quality or sound if I play with this Leather carpet over my existing rubber mat. ? The reason is that this pool mat is thin as you can see from the video. This is an old Technics turntable. The answers to previous questions say that these are intended to replace other rubber, felt, cork mats. For real? I'll have to play it a few times with both mats and then just the leather mat. I ask was it a good buy?
