Review on 🧰 Grommet Kit - Lord Hodge 1073A 1 by Evan Hernandez

The Lord & Hodge Gasket Set is a pretty decent set for the price. You get everything you need to attach the eyelets and the quality of the materials is very good. The set includes 48 brass grommets, a hole punch, a block of wood (to use the hole punch) and an assembly tool (similar to a dowel). They only take a few minutes to pierce and install, and they are well made when finished. The die leaves a lot to be desired and doesn't leave the holes completely punched or slightly uneven, but those imperfections are hidden by the bushing so it's not a big deal. Another problem I had was removing the bushing from the tuning tool. I had to pry it off with a butter knife as it stuck pretty well after hitting it with a hammer. It came off, but the process was a little less elegant. The tuning tool and block are solid and look like they'll last quite a while. For $10 I think it's a pretty well made little instrument.
