I bought this because I was using a gel pad but when I stopped the sun heated the gel pad making it too hot to use sit down I installed this on my Goldwing bike, it seems convenient to install but has a long ride to go. I used a gel pad under a sheepskin coat. The elastic straps that keep it in place look cheap and may not last long. But for now they are working. It says you can put water in it, but I think I'll have the same problem with the sun heating the water as I did with the gel pad.
