But they work. in Computers & Accessories

The 3mm pads turned out to be slightly thinner than my standard 3mm pads on my msi rtx 3080 ventus x3. I didn't measure, however, but every listing/article on the internet said the standard pads were 3mm. They were also sturdier so they didn't pinch the VRAM chips, luckily the Ventus backplate is plastic so it could flex. A slightly thinner frame lets the back stand out. Now for performance. I was able to achieve a 12 cent reduction in video memory temperature, which was the goal. Also for those who want to do this update I will share with you. You only need half that size to complete the challenge if you're playing Tetris and not wasting your notebook. You need 3mm for the back memory. 2mm for GPU memory front. And 1mm only if you choose Power Caps. I decided to test without changing the 1mm pads. So yes, you can buy 1 Gelide pad 2mm and 1 3mm and only spend 30$.
