They are perfect for my needs. I have an older dog who often wakes me up at night when she needs to go out. I used to have to turn on the bedroom light, turn on the hallway light, and then turn on the laundry room light to let them out the back door. Now I have one outside my bedroom that turns on when I open the door and another one in the laundry room that turns on when I open that door. Safely lights my way without lighting up the whole house! I put a third one in my entryway and it lights up when I enter the lobby and also when I open the door when I get home. The magnetic backing is great for putting it exactly where it needs to be AND moving it around without fuss if needed. The fourth will ride in my van. I used to have to use a flashlight to climb the steps to the RV because the nearest light switch was over the inside door. I will install the light so that it glows when the door is opened. Highly recommended!
