I like big towels but a big towel can be huge if it's made of good quality cotton. It's a balance of absorbent, large but doesn't take up much space. I've used it after showers and for hot yoga, although it's not as long as a yoga mat. However, I have been very happy with how it has worked for me and it takes up a lot less room in my gym bag than the towels I have used before. It's not as soft as your regular pretty cotton towel, but the space saving more than makes up for it. We now have several of these in different sizes and colors because they work so well. I keep one next to our sink as it's great for providing a bit more friction after using heavy duty soap after car work to ensure my hands are clean and dry.
