I have a blue yeti in a shock absorber which then attaches to this stand. I also attached a pop filter to the stand and bent it to be in front of the Yeti. This stand hangs my mic higher and slightly in front of my main monitor so I don't have to think about the mic when I'm recording. I can sit normally. Six weeks ago, for a project that took longer than I thought it would, I made what I thought was a temporary bookshelf clip. It's still firmly attached. It took a little bending to get the right position. So get ready to experiment with it. But given the cost I think it's a solid and functional mic stand. Installation took less than five minutes.
