I wondered if it was time to upgrade my bag with a new range finder. I've spent the summer noticing what my golfing buddies are using and even tried a few products at pro shops. I've come to the conclusion that for a weekend enthusiast like me, paying extra for lean and stability control is unnecessary at best. Boy was I wrong. At the recommendation of a friend, I took the plunge and bought a Nikon Coolshot Pro stabilized rangefinder. Despite being an intermediate golfer, the stability control and slope adjustment made a huge difference in my confidence on the course. I've taken proximity shots with a regular rangefinder, firing at 150, only to find the true range is 165 with tilt. To me, that's the difference between trying to be a bird and trying to bob up and down to hold the value. These opportunities add up over time. What used to seem like an unnecessary expense has now become a luxury I can't live without. I would recommend this product to any golfer interested in improving their game and course management. Ty G
