This Eosin Y is the perfect complement to your methylene blue for slide prep. It comes with a regular lid and a lid with a spout. Also included is a dropper bottle. I prefer a cap with a spout. This Eosin Y is ideal for preparing a blood smear for microscopic examination. This is lab quality. After staining the blood smear with methylene blue, it is washed with water and then stained with eosin. "Wright's stain" is a combination of methylene blue and eosin Y used for the same purpose and also for histological examination.
