Update: We've been using this car seat again for over a month and now I love it. I'm glad I decided to keep it. I had to use pool noodles to install it properly in the car. My daughter who is about 6 months old now falls asleep in it almost every time. I used to be annoyed by the tighter seat belts, but I have a feeling she's a lot safer in them than in her car seat. It just takes a little longer to attach than the car seat in my husband's car. Now that it's bigger, it fits snugly in the baby pad. I would definitely recommend this car seat to a family looking for a basic convertible car seat.
