Upgrade from 3 to 4 stars.

This is a good car seat in every respect. It fits very well in my rear-facing 2009 Corolla. However, the passenger seat had to be raised. The price was really great and it seems really safe. Our daughter is 3 months old, everything is fine. We decided to go to her infant carrier in my car until she got better. She has a Graco Milestone convertible in my husband's car. I honestly prefer this one, but it was over $200 and we didn't want to spend twice. Pros: Affordable Fits my small car. As we spend 3 months in the car seat she seems comfortable and has slept in it. Purple is very pretty but not too girly. We like it very much. Cons: Not ideal for children under 15 pounds. It is difficult to install and requires more force to tighten the locking system compared to Graco seats. You'll also need to remove part of the cover to install a locking system or rear-facing seat belt. Unlike their Graco, to add a cup holder you had to remove part of the lid on the side and it was a pain to pull it back. repair something. The tourniquet is also harder to tighten. And the chest clip is much larger compared to others. Also, when the seat is facing backwards, it's incredibly difficult to tighten as the ratchet strap is partially covered by the seat. The infant padding will not fit in a car seat with the headrest in the two lower positions. This confuses me because this is a toddler support pad so think it will fit when the baby's headrest is in the down position. All in all, this is a good extra seat. It was affordable and fits my small car. All the disadvantages, more inconveniences. We will be using this car seat again in a month or two when getting in and out is easier. Update: We've been using this car seat again for over a month and now I love it. I'm glad I decided to keep it. I had to use pool noodles to install it properly in the car. My daughter who is about 6 months old now falls asleep in it almost every time. I used to be annoyed by the tighter seat belts, but I have a feeling she's a lot safer in them than in her car seat. It just takes a little longer to attach than the car seat in my husband's car. Now that it's bigger, it fits snugly in the baby pad. I would definitely recommend this car seat to a family looking for a basic convertible car seat.

  • Great construction
Cons
  • Poor kit
