Stainless steel cage construction is new to me. Looks great. I think it will survive a tornado or hurricane unless crushed and a lightbulb shattered. However, the instructions online are a bit sketchy. you have a switch in the middle. light on the right. trap left. (ps I just heard that ZAP as I write this, no kidding. I'm upstairs in a house with an open bedroom window. There's about 40 feet nailed to the corner of a barn down there. Hit it again). The light switch looks like you want to use it as a flashlight. (Hit again) Not strong enough. Doesn't attract insects this way. (ZAP) The next day I switched to The Trap. Now I glow purple and it works so beautifully. It appears to charge in the sun all day and stays on all night, glowing purple every few minutes. Mistakes that way, not to me. I love it and plan to buy more. Take the included brush and sweep the bugs out of the cage. When they fall on the steel deck, they are easily blown away by the wind. I think the birds come too and eat the dead bugs that fall underneath. I will buy more from this and other brands. What works best will be on the side of the creek and keep the skeeters busy there.
