The keys are angled, not aligned, not curved, so *not* quite* ergonomic. The only ergonomics here is to keep your arms at the same height as your shoulders. However, I didn't buy it for the "ergonomics factor"; I bought it because of the quality of Kinesis and the ability to program macros. BUT the programmable macro function has a bug. I have Advantage and Advantage 2 and you can use hotkeys for multi-key macros. The Freestyle Pro I got randomly resets modifier keys and overrides macros! Definitely not the Kinesis quality I'm used to. I also have Freestyle Blue, which I never use because it's the same, just not programmable. sooo Yes, Kinesis made a good keyboard a few years ago, the Advantage, and aside from the Advantage 2 update, they've been resting on their laurels ever since.
