Ideal for repelling rodents in the garden

These are real crushed shells not processed like some that can be bought as chicken feed. This allows them to retain their somewhat sharp edges, which are not very popular with burrowing rodents. Plant tulip bulbs with it and stick a handful in a chipmunk hole before stepping on it or placing a rock to close it. It's not a 100% solution to get rid of pesky garden rodents, but they won't use that hole again. I love this hard to find product!
