Review on ⌚ Sailcloth Quick Release Leather Watch by Heather Wood

Nice strap but too yellow to call it khaki. I could soften it with a sponge soaked in black coffee. As usual with canvas straps, they have a nice sheen and the threads in this particular weave are thinner than usual, resulting in an even silkier feel than canvas typically produces. If I can use that word it means they are tapered like a watch strap should be and so I left out the nylon strap that was on the watch in favor of this one because the straps were woven from natos, perlon and others materials exist. The ties are all straight the way to the clasp which I don't like. The watch I bought it for is a black pure Casio counterpart with a beige/khaki dial. It's a diver and the black bezel has gold markings. Unusual, beautiful and, I think, already sold out. When I saw that this band came with a black buckle I was completely satisfied. Something I didn't notice in the listing photo is the black vinyl backing that touches the wrist, good color match. And it's semi-matte so the strap doesn't slip, leaving your watch hanging off the outer edge of your wrist. All canvas straps are initially stiff, including this one. I swap between multiple watches and it will take time for these to wear down and soften, but I don't mind. What I love about it is that I have a tapered strap that matches Casio's two colors and has that special reflectivity that makes the almost indestructible strap look elegant at the same time.
