First two we bought for boys kids playroom. We liked it so much we ordered 8 more and used them in each bedroom. We hung them in the window frame. They make the room much darker. Some light still comes in from the side, but we knew it and didn't mind. If you want to completely darken the room, you may need to hang them outside the frame. The instructions are easy and it took me about 30 minutes to hang 6 of them. They roll perfectly evenly and look very nice! I also emailed their customer service for information about their product and they responded quickly and were very nice. Love it!
