Review on 🧀 Microplane Master Series Cheese Grater with Wood Handle, Stainless Steel Frame, Extra Coarse Blade - Made in the USA by Renee Chavez

I wanted to love this grater and have other great micro graters. The problem with this product is that the grater has not been welded to the surrounding metal frame. Instead it is filled with epoxy. Over time the epoxy breaks down and the friction element detaches from the handle/frame. That's very disappointing. Wood is also not sanded or processed in any way. I covered mine with a polyurethane finish before using to ensure it didn't pick up mold after it got wet from hand washing.
