I've been using Modelones gels for nearly a year and I've acquired a collection of fifty or so polishes and I was very excited to add this 6 piece holiday set. After swatching the colors today I was incredibly disappointed in the formula of the red glitter #1374. It is a sheer red jelly base that is over loaded with chunky glitters. Application was a disaster! I'm unsure if I received a defective batch because my bottle is literally more chunky glitter than base making it impossible to apply smoothly or evenly. Generally all they other colors self-level to an extent, but there wasn't a chance of that happening with this monstrosity of a polish.The two greens (0408 glitter, 0697 jelly) and other red (1024 jelly) in the set are lovely though and apply normally. The silver glitter 0923 is a generic densely packed glitter, and the silver-leaning-champagne glitter 1058 contains some irregular shaped flakies adding some interest. This collection is more of a miss than a hit since I'm only impressed with half the collection, which is a first for me with this brand. :(
