I bought both this wallet and The Ridge as a gift for my husband. I wanted to compare them and keep the one he liked best. Compared to The Ridge, this wallet looks very similar. The slight differences I noticed were: - The colors were slightly different (both gunmetal), I preferred The Ridge something that was a slightly lighter gray with a slightly nicer metallic sheen. - It had tiny screws holding the case together; There were rivets on the coat of arms. Again, the Ridge wins because the screws are more likely to loosen over time. The Ridge has nicer packaging and the tool that comes with it is a bit nicer/heavier. The included tool works with tiny screws but looks pretty cheap. After reading the differences above, you might think that the Ridge is the best buy. Well, maybe that's it if you're interested in these differences. Where this shines, however, is in the price. I bought this wallet for $20, The Ridge was a whopping $85. While The Ridge is slightly better quality overall, it's probably not worth the $85 price tag. This wallet looks and functions very similarly, so the choice is yours. I definitely recommend this one if you've never used this type of wallet before just to see if you like it. My husband didn't, we both returned. ๐
