is perfect for my chrome slings and messenger bags that used to have the extra strap length blowing in the wind. The 50mm size is perfect for the 2" webbing used in Chrome designs. To better secure the extra length I used 2 clips per belt with the clip going in opposite directions. It holds the strap more securely and provides more friction to prevent it from slipping up and down the length of the strap. The plastic used is quite resilient and held up well to flexing when I tried to fit it on tight areas of the strap attaches to my Chrome backpack: the clips now make it easier to put on and take off accessories, for example on the outside of my backpack, now I can quickly and easily hang my tripod when I just need to secure it and safety is not a major concern. Although I had to bend the pad to fit the odd spot, it returned to its original shape almost immediately. and fully rebounded within a few hours, this engineered resiliency gives me confidence that the clip will withstand some stress without breaking.
