12x12 cards are expensive and hard to find in decently sized (and priced) packs. This box was of very good quality and sold in large quantities at a reasonable price. I've used this for two different projects: First, I used it to make silhouettes of my son and niece for my mom for Christmas. After creating their profiles in Photoshop, I sketched them on this paper, cut them out and glued them onto white cardstock in an oval frame for them. I found this paper perfect for this purpose for several reasons: 1) it wasn't overly textured or pitted to look cheap or cheap in silhouette 2) it looked thick and of good quality 3) it held up to some very finicky cuts on the lashes and little girl's hair without peeling, wrinkling or tearing. My other project was a simple and silly snowman for my front door for Christmas. I circled a few shells and cut out some circles for the nose and mouth as you can see in the attached photo. great for cutting. I still have plenty of sheets left over for my main purposes in scrapbooking and will continue to be happy and content with them. A good buy.
