This grip is well made, easy on and off my a7ii and works as it should. Perhaps the Sony version of this grip is better finished and contains more gold or silver, but I don't know if that's actually the case; it should be 4 times more expensive than this one. I like the a7ii for its EVF, IBIS and small size. What I don't like is the short battery life. This grip holds two batteries and doubles the battery life of the a7ii. It's good. It also almost doubles the size of the camera. I don't think that's a good thing. As such, I will only use this grip when using larger, heavier lenses when the grip becomes a clear advantage.
