A picture is worth a thousand words, maybe 20 or 30, some of which are not very good. They're hollow, cheap plastic. I haven't had any problems with melting yet. I paid $5.99 it must be an incredible win in these things. Update: downgraded to one star. The hollow plastic parts are broken. They don't look stressed, they just hang there! I take what's left and throw it away before they fall apart and end up somewhere else.
