These socks have a fitted, tailored feel to them. They make other socks feel loose and tubular by comparison. I bought these for winter use, but they are so thick and luxurious that I kept wearing them into spring and now summer. Florida summers are extremely hot and muggy, but these socks are actually cooler and more comfortable to wear than cotton in the summer. My feet never feel hot or sweaty even though these are thick socks. The wool really does wick away the moisture. I liked these so much I ordered a second set. They are a little pricey but you definitely get what you pay for. Better than cheaper cotton socks you have to throw away every 6 months.
