This rating is just a first impression. Just put it on your computer. First, the instructions are terrible. Ironic as they provided nicer (and seemingly more detailed) instructions than most products. Just align the computer and case before putting them on (make sure the front and back tabs are offset from each other) - it will make visual sense. hard on the locking tabs. With multiple pull tabs around the perimeter, it seems like even a broken pull tab or two should give you ample protection. Removing and reinstalling these tabs is likely to be a difficult task. I love that you can see through the top - just an aesthetic thing but having paid a lot of money for Apple's design it's nice to be able to see it :) touch it. I work with metal and this should help keep chips and dust/dirt out of important parts. I'll try the included keyboard cover though and see how it fares. I also ordered a non-silicone version from another company and will choose the one that fits best. I was concerned that the rear legs (supports) would be too weak, but I think they might hold up for a while. It depends on how rough you are with the computer, but they are more telling than I thought based on the photos on the internet. Overall good fit and finish.
