Review on STANLEY BC15BS Automatic Maintainer Alternator by Robert Howell

2 year update: This charger accidentally stopped working a few months ago, didn't light up at all so I suspected it had a blown fuse. I finally got around to taking it apart today and had to disassemble it completely to access the NON-REPLACEABLE fuse (see photos). Who does what with a non-replaceable fuse?! The whole point of a fuse is to have an easily replaceable part that sacrifices itself before something important is damaged. This junk is designed to have to be sent back to the manufacturer for easy fuse replacement, which is simply not acceptable. Unfortunately I have to downgrade my original 5 star rating to 1 star as this item is for single use (I will solder in a new fuse to get my money's worth but not everyone can do that). First review: The battery repair function has already brought an old scrap battery back to life. It costs more than a standard charger.
