Charges my iPhone 12 fast but gets hot at times

The cable itself looks and feels solid. I bought it because I needed a longer cable so I wouldn't feel restricted charging my phone as I run away. I'm always on and it definitely does the job and charges my iPhone 12 pretty quickly, but sometimes my phone gets REALLY hot. And I'll probably have to get another charger because I don't want to ruin my phone.
