I am surprised that these generics are much cheaper than the brand names. I feel like I'm getting the same number of pages and the color/text is fine. There is no noticeable degradation in print quality. I won't deduct stars for the overall picture because that's not the point. It prints great and works great with my e525w. It doesn't even define it as generic. Would buy it again with great pleasure. Save your wallets and go for regular ink - there's no difference, and your budget-conscious wife will thank you.
