I live in a one bedroom apartment so everything is right next to the kitchen. Not good if you want to fry fish! I was concerned that the smells would linger in the linen closet as well as the sofa cushions and fabric chair. From time to time I would catch last night's dinner in the linen closet. But I wanted smaller bags, and the different sizes of gonzo charcoal bags made them a must-have. I hung a medium sized bag on one of the wire shelves in the linen closet. No smell after about a day, especially in the linen closet. Even the lingering smell of drying towels has been eliminated. Very happy with this product! Highly recommended!
