The stand itself looks well made. Based on the description, it sounded like you could use it to hold your phone without anything else. Unfortunately it isn't. There is no magnet on the stand to keep the phone in place. You have to buy a MagSafe charger and put it in the stand and that keeps the phone in place. Their description is "You don't need to remove your phone case when using this charging stand." This only applies when you hold the phone almost horizontally on the stand, otherwise the phone will slide down. I use an Apple MagSafe charger so I know it's good quality. The iPhone features an ESR plastic case that's ready for wireless charging. The phone charges easily when placed on the stand. Just don't expect to be able to hold it at an angle greater than 25% from the horizontal.
