I have two cats, a sixteen-year-old calico and a four year old tortoise shell. So I ordered two cooling pads.The younger cat. Lexi, took to the cooling pad right away (she is the larger of the two), but Clarice apparently did not like the feel of it.So one cooling pad is on the cushion of a ottoman Lexi favors and the other is on a window seat of the her favorite window, basically the same places she likes to sleep on her self-heating pads during the cold months. Now the Clarice LOVES her self-heating pads and self heating bed, but shows a preference to curling up atop a magazine or catalog (?) on her window seat during the warm months.I think it is a great product if you have a cat that prefers to sleep cool.
