Good case, bad smell

I like this case, I wanted to leave it but it smells horribly like burnt rubber. I said maybe I can handle it, maybe the smell will go away with time. Then my husband told me he had a steering wheel cover that smelled like this. He lay there for about 2 weeks and threw it away. I gave him two because of the smell. Very disappointed.
