Great bag for the dollar. Got a set on my FXDWG. SET it to 02 while still using it. Wash with soap and water, apply some Tanner leather conditioner and they'll look like new. As for waterproofing in light rain, heavy rain is a common thing. Just pack your stuff in a plastic bag and you're done. 7 trips to Sturgis in all weather conditions. EVERYTHING and the whole great bag!
