dark areas of padding show through white fabric and look like stains
I was delighted to find a minimalist/solid color version of this traditional Thai pillow but as the white cover is not removable for washing, is he it? It is very important to cover it with a blanket and use it only on carpeted floors where shoes cannot be worn. however that is to be expected from what you see here but what you only see when it is delivered is that the kapok inside is the wrong color with dark areas showing through the fabric and making it look dirty all over as if the stain was a superficial stain when in fact it was a discolored filling. The kapok filling should be off-white, so I'm not sure what the dark areas are. Moldy kapok?
