I bought for my son who is 9 yrs old, but 5'2 with a long torso and wears size 18. I washed before he wore it for Halloween and line dryed it. But made the mistake of putting it in the dryer the 2nd time and it shrunk a size, DON'T PUT IN DRYER! I bought red, color bleed but never faded, I would say buy a sized bigger then what you would normally buy. If you were a S at Old Navy, you buy a M 😉.
