I have recently started looking through my 1950's stamp collection in preparation for sale. I couldn't find my old stamping tongs so I ordered these cheap tongs/tweezers. The tips of the blades are so thick that I sometimes had trouble getting them under the die without damaging them. So I went looking for my old stamping tongs again and finally found them. Old thin-bladed pliers are much easier to use. But the new pliers with thick blades are not wasted. I find them useful for removing excess nose and ear hair.
