First, note that the holes on the strainer cup are poorly cut and have sharp ridges. I learned this the hard way. After spending 10 minutes trimming them, they are now safe to wash. The juicer itself works very well. You can only put a short glass under the strainer (height is theoretically adjustable but if you put it higher there isn't enough room for fruit. Have cooked grapefruit and pomegranates with no problems, smaller fruit should also do fine. Quite heavy and strong, so tilting isn't really a problem.It takes some hand strength...you can get some leverage with your hand but I have to lean on that to really extract the maximum juice.. if there was a strainer at the bottom of the cup (though then it would would probably clog.) After that, I usually drain the juice through a strainer.
