Review on Volcom Vernon Insulated Snowboard X Large by John Mejia

We bought a medium size for our 9 year old who is admittedly a little big for his age but I'm afraid it may only fit him for a year or so. It's a shame because this jacket is great. This is a true children's two-layer jacket, which is rare. My son hates the bulky baby stuff that everyone sells and before he bought this he just put on his commando wrap. The Volcom Vernon Jacket allows him to rock the base and mid layer underneath without bulking up. Kept it 15-20 degree day in 14" powder roasted vail-back pans. It also has a killer look (vintage black). And yellowish sleeves make it very easy to stand out from the crowd when you need to find your kid quickly. It also has a helmet compatible hood. The most important? My son loves the jacket too. The only complaint I or my son have is the lack of zippers. He gets a bit hot when he has to go up the ridge or to the park.
