I bought this book as soon as it came out and I (and others who enjoy browsing my shelves) have returned to it regularly ever since. There is something soothing about this book. Although I'm self-taught and don't remember learning from any of my family members, I still enjoy stories immensely. The patterns, photos and instructions are all great. I wish people thought so much about knitting books. It's a keeper and I look forward to passing it on to my granddaughter.
