My 8 year old madman managed to wear them for two months with no problem. So keep that in mind when making your decision! These tights are an absolute treasure and as the little ballerinas wear them out so quickly I'm glad I found them at a bargain price. much easier, my little one hates "bites" and they are perfect! This is our 4th pair and they are smudge proof and stand up to everything little ballerinas can throw at them, they wash well with minimal shrinkage and air dry with no shrinkage!
